Botaniqal Clinic Earns Dual LegitScript and ISO 9001 Certification
A New Benchmark for Patient Safety and Quality in Australian Telehealth
Your health, wellbeing and peace of mind are our deepest commitment at Botaniqal Clinic.
We understand that when you seek support for your health online, trust is everything. That is why we are incredibly proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey: Botaniqal Clinic has achieved both LegitScript Certification and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification.
These achievements are not just badges for our website. The industry benchmark certifications reflect our ongoing dedication to excellence and offer you peace of mind that you are receiving care from a clinic rigorously assessed for compliance, quality, and patient safety.
The ‘Golden Key’ to Trust: What LegitScript Certification Means for You
In the world of online healthcare, ensuring a provider is legitimate and trustworthy can be a challenge. Checking for validation from third party organisations is often one of the most recognised ways and this is where LegitScript comes in. LegitScript certification is recognised internationally as a benchmarkfor verifying the legality, safety, and trustworthiness of healthcare providers.According to L7 Creative, "For companies operating in sensitive or regulated industries, LegitScript certification is often the golden key that unlocks marketplace trust."
Beacon Media + Marketing further emphasises that LegitScript certification "ensures that only trustworthy companies can market their services online."
By obtaining this certification, Botaniqal Clinic demonstrates our dedication to operating within the highest standards of legality and ethics, ensuring our patients receive care from a trusted and verified provider.
So, what gives LegitScript its authority?
A Rigorous and Comprehensive Vetting Process: Achieving certification is intentionally difficult. As expert consultants at Behavioral Health Partners explain, the process is a thorough and deep review of the entire operation. LegitScript analysts review every detail, including practitioner licensing, business registration, privacy policies, website transparency, and proof of insurance. This in-depth evaluation ensures that only providers who are truly committed to legal compliance and best practices can earn the seal.
A Clear Signal of Trust and Legitimacy: Because the certification process is thorough, it serves as an immediate and reliable signal of trust for patients. It demonstrates that a clinic has voluntarily undergone extensive third-party screening and has met the highest standards for transparency and safety. When you see the LegitScript seal, you can be confident that the provider takes compliance and your safety seriously.
Our Commitment to Quality: The Significance of ISO 9001 Certification
Beyond legitimacy, we are profoundly committed to the quality of your experience with us. That is why we pursued and achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification throughCompass Assurance Services, a leading JAS-ANZ-accredited certifier in Australia. ISO 9001 is the world's most recognised Quality Management System standard, and its adoption is on the rise, with Compass Assurance Services noting a 7.2% increase in certifications like ISO 9001 in the last financial year. This shows a growing commitment among Australian businesses to prioritise quality.
Here is why our ISO 9001 certification is important for your care:
A Focus on Your Needs: As Compass Assurance Services explains in their detailed Quality Systems Guide, a core principle of ISO 9001 is a strong customer focus. It is built on a "Plan-Do-Check-Act" cycle that embeds continual improvement into our DNA. This means our processes, from your initial 2-minute pre-screening to your follow-up consultations, are designed, reviewed and constantly refined to better meet your needs.
Consistent, High-Quality Service: This certification confirms that we have robust, repeatable systems in place to ensure you receive the same high level of service every time you interact with us. It is an “independent verification of our commitment to continually improve,” as described by ICM Group, another company certified by Compass Assurance Services.
Why Checking for Certification Matters
In an expanding digital health landscape, it has never been more important for you to be able to identify credible and safe healthcare providers. Certifications like LegitScript and ISO 9001 are clear indicators that a clinic operates transparently and puts patient safety and quality at the forefront of its operations. They signify a provider's commitment to going above and beyond the minimum requirements.
When you see these certifications, you know that the clinic has voluntarily opened its doors to rigorous third-party audits to validate its processes and commitment to excellence.

We are proud to be leading the way in Australia, and we want to thank you for placing your trust in us. We are committed to continuing to earn that trust every single day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Botaniqal Clinic a licensed medical provider?
Yes, Botaniqal Clinic is a licensed Australian medical facility specialising in alternative therapeutic treatments. Our clinic employs qualified nurses and doctors registered to prescribe botanical medicine products to treat various conditions.
Why do I need to go through an intake process before my appointment?
Both GP and alternative medicine appointments require an intake process to help us understand your health concerns. This ensures your doctor has all the necessary information to tailor your consultation.
For alternative medicine consultations: The intake process includes a pre-screening form to help our doctors assess if alternative medicine is the best option for your healthcare needs.
For GP consultations: The simplified intake form focuses on your general health and immediate concerns.
How do alternative medicine consultations differ from GP consultations?
Alternative medicine consultations focus on holistic approaches to managing discomfort, sleep issues, or emotional wellbeing and require a more comprehensive prescreening process. If our doctor determines you are not suitable for alternative medicine, we’ll recommend a GP consultation.
GP consultations are for general health concerns, including common illnesses, prescriptions, and general medical advice. These appointments have a straightforward intake process.
No referral is necessary. Simply complete our online pre-screening form to check eligibility, then you can book a consultation directly if suitable for alternative medicine treatment. A referral is ideal but not necessary, however if your health records are incomplete, a Health Summary will be required. Please note: The alternative natural therapies prescribed by Botaniqal Clinic doctors are not first-line treatments for any medical condition. Conventional treatments must be attempted first to qualify for holistic therapy
Yes, the clinic treats patient privacy seriously. Your information is stored securely and is only shared with pharmacies and suppliers when necessary to provide you with medication, or as required by law.
For prescriptions involving Schedule 8 substances, your healthcare provider will have access to your medical history via real-time monitoring. This is a government program that tracks these medications to prevent misuse.
Can I combine a GP consultation with an alternative medicine consultation?
Currently, appointments are handled separately to ensure the best focus on your health concerns. However, our team can guide you on how to proceed if both services are needed.
Give us a quick call at 1300 153 019 if you are not sure which consultation to choose.
Does health insurance cover alternative medicine treatment?
Most private health insurers in Australia cover some or all of the costs of botanical medicine prescriptions. However, there are exceptions. It's important to check with your insurer specifically to see if they offer coverage before making a claim.
Is my botanical medicine or consultation with Botaniqal Clinic covered by Medicare?
As our clinic continues to evolve and grow, we anticipate that Medicare coverage may become available in the near future. We're actively working towards this goal to make our services more accessible to all patients. We recommend checking back regularly for updates on Medicare coverage, as we're committed to providing you with the most current information about payment options and potential rebates.
